Buzz Aldrin has admitted to having a facelift in a recent issue of Time magazine. When asked why he decided to get a facelift at the age of 77, he answered:

It’s kind of funny, but I’ve been exposed to a lot of G-forces as a fighter pilot and in space. That caused a sagging jowl that needed some attention.

I’m not sure about the exact date of the surgery, but the photo here is from July 10, 2007. I guess it would be before his facelift.

I believe you can never be too old for plastic surgery, just too unhealthy. I’d rather operate on a healthy, non-smoking 77 year old than an unhealthy 55 year old.

Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin's will have to pay his ex-wife half his fortune following the couple's divorce settlement.

The 82-year-old, who was the second person to ever walk on the moon, was brought down to earth after officially ending his 23-year union to Lois Driggs Cannon.

The couple agreed to the terms on Dec. 28, and Cannon will receive 50 percent of the $475,000 in Aldrin's bank account as well as half of the profits from his stocks and business dealings, according to the court documents.

Aldrin also agreed to give Cannon $9,500 a month in spousal support and 30 percent of his annual income, which is about $600,000, TMZ.com said.

She also gets to keep their 1988 Mercedes, which has vanity plates that read, 'MOONGAL.'

The couple tied the knot  on Valentine's Day in 1988 but had no children together.

Aldrin's first marriage was to Joan Archer, with whom he had three children - James, Janice and Andrew.

But their relationship ended as the astronaut fought alcoholism and depression after he was thrust into the spotlight following his mission to the moon in 1969.

He has since said that overcoming depression and alcohol was one of the hardest challenges of his life.

His second marriage was to Beverly Zile. 

Aldrin was the second man to ever step foot on the moon following Neil Armstrong, after the two men landed there in space-flight Apollo 11 on July 20, 1969.

While Armstrong kept a relatively low-profile over the years, Aldrin has enjoyed the limelight.

He has denied having a 'chip on his shoulder' about being the second man on the moon instead of the first.

After retiring from the space program in 1973, Aldrin joined the Air Force.

He admitted in his autobiographies Magnificent Desolation and Return To Earth that he had suffered from clinical depression and battled alcoholism after leaving NASA.

Despite his personal turmoil, Aldrin showed his humorous side when he appeared in The Simpsons and was interviewed by Ali G.

In 2009, he even starred in a spoof rap video with Snoop Dogg and Talib Kweli.

"In the mid '80s, after some fights in a film, I had to have my eyes done," he says. "For one, I almost went blind because I got black powder in my eye. Also I had terrible sacks under my eyes from the many fist fights. My eyes were not in form any more. I had that corrected."

“I want laser treatment because I’m not a fan of my wrinkles,” she says in the April issue of Ladies’ Home Journal. “But I have to find someone with a light touch. I’m scared I’ll end up looking like the Joker.”

The only other way to achieve her perfectly smooth and wrinkle free forehead is to immobilize the muscles in her forehead through a forehead lift.  Also, I’m sure she has had a little plastic surgery to maintain her trademarked arched eyebrows.  A browlift and/or an upper eyelift are some ways that she may have maintained her youthful “look”.  Her nose looks extremely straight and narrow.  Makeup may have helped her achieve this look, but I am more inclined to say it was from a Rhinoplasty.”

Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, ” Brooke Shields does not appear to have had any major work done as of recent. She may have had rhinoplasty at some point in her life, as her nose is very perfectly shaped. Fillers and Botox are a possibility. Overall, she looks great and any work she has performed in the future is strictly up to her. ”

The beauty of actress Brooke Shields is partially due to a “nice nose job,” says plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia of San Clemente.

On his blog, Di Saia responded this week to a query by TMZ, which posted these photos of Shields from age 16 and age 43 with the headline “Good Genes or Good Docs?”

“A little of both” is Di Saia’s opinion.

Shields hasn’t admitted having plastic surgery, but she has often been subject of speculation that she has been under the knife. For example, the cosmetic medicine blog Make Me Heal says, “she does seem to be looking a little tightened up lately.”

The stunning bone structure is still there though perhaps altered by means that Mother Nature didn't provide, according to one report.

In detail, Ekland, 70, is speculated to have had a facelift, brow lift, eyelid surgery, botox injections, lip injections, a nose job and facial fillers.

Ekland has admitted to having plastic surgery in the past, claiming that plastic surgery is great but it should only be used by people over 40. "I think it's wonderful. But there should be an age limit. It should be absolutely forbidden for anyone under 40. It's for older people - to lift the chin here and take a couple of crow's feet out there - not for young people who want to be bigger and plumper or thinner," Ekland explained.

Judging by her recent appearances, it is clear that Ekland has gone too far with plastic surgery in a desperate attempt for everlasting beauty as she is now the latest victim of trout pout and a windswept-looking face.

In spite of her youthful complexion, possibly an indication of collagen injections and a face lift, Ekland's lips are too puffed up, the result of an over zealous lip enhancement using a filler like Restylane or even collagen.

Despite having undergone many plastic surgery procedures, Ekland revealed that she is not a fan of botox. She previously talked about how Nicole Kidman apparently has over-done it on Botox after watching her in "Cold Mountain". "Her face was neither sad nor glad - nor anything. She was just like a painted doll, I thought: "Why would she do that?,"" Ekland was quoted as saying.

In an interview before her show "Britt on Britt" during the Edinburgh Festival in 2008 in Scotland, Ekland stated she's not worried about no longer being labeled a "sex kitten": "I guess you could say that I was a sex kitten until I was 54. I'm a bit long in the tooth to be a sex symbol. I have three beautiful children; two sons and Victoria, my daughter I had with Peter. My eldest son, Nikolai, is getting married to a lovely girl later this year and I can't wait to become a grandmother. I celebrate my age and I'm happy because I believe in staying fit and healthy and slim. I look pretty good, my skin is clear and I'm happy with my hair, even if it's no longer quite so glorious as it used to be. As for plastic surgery, I have no problems with having work done on my face," Ekland admitted.

Celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who has never treated Ekland, revealed to RadarOnline: "Britt looks like she's had quite a bit of work done. I suspect that she's had a facelift to smooth and tighten her jawline, a browlift and eyelid lifts to open her eyes, and injections of fat into her cheeks to plump them up."

Dr. Youn recommended that Ekland should stop plumping her cheeks and try Botox to smooth the crow's feet. Youn added that Ekland defied her age, but didn't seem natural. "She surely doesn't look her age, but she doesn't look natural, either! If I could give her two pieces of advice, it'd be to avoid any further plumping of her cheeks and to maybe try a touch of Botox into her crows feet," Dr. Youn advised.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer was quoted as saying: "Britt Ekland looks fabulous. She has certainly maintained her beautiful looks with multiple facial cosmetic surgeries such as an upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), eyebrow lift, rhinoplasty (nose job), lip augmentation and facelift."

Dr. Paul A. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California explained: "Britt Ekland appears to have had lip augmentation, a possible rhinoplasty, facial fillers, Botox, possibly a facelift, and a browlift. Overall, her look is a bit overdone and she should not have any further procedures performed at this time."

Okay. I can settle with a little Botox, a chemical peel, and maybe even the lip injections. Those are fairly common, easy procedures. But Britney’s alleged makeover sounds more like a trip to that mind-control spa in Zoolander than a real medical procedure. What the heck is LipoDissolve? When a sleeker-looking Bristol showed up Tuesday at the Candie's Foundation 2011 benefit gala at Cipriani in New York, tongues began wagging about what exactly is going on with her new look.

A source close to Palin insists to E! News that she hasn't gone under the knife and "isn't that kind of person" that would alter her looks with some help from professionals.

"I can tell you that she has lost a tremendous amount of weight since Dancing With the Stars and that is most likely the reason for the speculation," says the source.

Nonetheless, the 20-year-old's defined jawline, sky-high cheekbones and fresher looking eyes are now being dissected by one who knows best.

We sent before and after pics of Palin to Dr. Brian Glatt, a board-certified New Jersey-based plastic surgeon with more than 12 years of expertise, and here is what he told us:

"Her upper face, her eyes, brows, and forehead seem to be the same as they were," he says. "She's lost a little volume in her cheeks from weight loss, which you'd expect in someone young, but the lower third of her face is a dramatic difference. You could draw a line across the lower third, it's like two different people."

Glatt says some of the changes are attributable to weight loss, but he highly doubts the entire look is due to a new diet.

"She had a double chin before and that's gone now. It looks to me like she's had extensive liposuction throughout her neck, including under her chin, which has clearly been liposuctioned, it's obvious to me," Glatt insists.

"Her chin is a lot more defined, which can occur from aggressive lipo, but she may also have had an implant. Her chin is more straight and more defined afterwards, which really points to her having a chin implant as well."

As for her new-look mouth? There are two possibilities, but Glatt is leaning towards lip injections.

"Her lower lip looks a lot more full," he said. "It's pretty obvious to me that she's had something injected into her lower lip, nothing in her upper lip. If she had surgery recently, he lower lip could be swollen, but it looks injected, I don't think it's just from postoperative swelling, it's more prominent."

Glatt says that Palin has made some surface beauty changes too, like shaping her brows slightly differently and wearing more eye shadow.

"Overall, she went from having a square face to a heart-shaped face, and a heart-shaped face is considered more beautiful," Glatt says.

But this is more odd: Bristol Palin had all the fat sucked out from underneath her face and suddenly has a new Jay Leno chin. This allowed her a chance to once again tap some food money from US Weekly, by denying the procedure was plastic surgery. The problem, she says, was that her snowbilly teeth were all screwed up and her jaw was about to rot off or something. Even better!

    “Yes,” she admits, “It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons…so my jaw and teeth could properly realign…I don’t obsess over my face”

    Still, “I am absolutely thrilled with the results,” she gushes. “I look older, more mature, and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face!”

See, she doesn’t care what she looks like at all! The medicines just told her that her face was going to fall off, so they forced her to reengineer the skull God fucked up on when he was making her. But she loves how great she looks, even though she doesn’t care at all about how she looks!

Doctors had to liposuction her chin scrotum, of course. But they weren’t removing fat! That’s where all her teeth were. It makes a lot of sense.
