Kat Von D Plastic Surgery Before and After Botox, Breast Implants, Eyebrows and Nose Job

Kat Von D, 31, is speculated to have had a nose job, botox injections, breast implants, chin implants and lip injections.

Many celebrity watchers and fans point out Kat Von D's changing appearance of her nose and eyebrows, asking why she made the decision to have her brows lifted and her nose sculpted.

Judging by the before and after photos, Kat's eyebrows are pulled up near the corners of her eyes and now there is clearly more space between them. Her brow is also much tighter and her look is "surprised" that comes with excessive brow (and sometimes eye) work. Her face looks smoother than before, but it's a bit frozen too. As for her forehead, it appears immobile, toned and smooth, all these are indications of regular botox injections.
 

Kat used to have a bit piggy nose with a wide nasal bridge that looked too big for her face. The bridge of her nose looks slimmer and the tip is also refined and overdone, making her nose appear more pinched, slimmer but too small in proportion to the rest of her face, a sign of a nose job (with some insisting she had at least two nose jobs!).

The size and shape of Kat Von D's lips is changed with noticeable irregularities above the upper lip when she smiles, a result of lip implants.

Kat was kind of flat chested but as she she gets older her breasts look little by little increased in size. Now Kat's breasts look bigger, rounder, higher and more protruding than before. Also in some pictures, one looks higher than the other, which could be a sign of breast implants.

On the other hand, Kat Von D's close pal denied about the breast implant surgery, claiming that Kat just gained weight since she stopped her diet, so her breast looks bigger and tougher now. However, if we suppose to believe Kat's friend, as her weight fluctuates, so does the size of her breasts, possibly a sign that they are natural; although weight gain and loss can alter the appearance of implants as well.

It is rumored that Kat had a chin augmentation as her face seems longer, her chin thinner and there is a unique dimpling between her lower lip and chin. Maybe she got the implant to counter her smaller nose and increase the proportions of her face, but it was unsuccessful.

We should take into account though that Kat Von D  is a skillful artist, who undeniably knows how to use make up. So, it is possible that with the correct use of make up she made her nose look thinner and changed the shape of her eyebrows by shaving certain part of it and then using make up to create the shape that she wanted. We should not underestimate also the importance of lighting and view angle in a picture. Last but not least we should consider Kat's age - her face likely changed naturally in the process of growing up.

Kat Von D denied all the plastic surgery rumors via her Facebook page, claiming: " I usually never respond to whatever gossip is running around in the rumor mill, but recently it came to my attention that a lotta people think I underwent some type of plastic surgery procedures…Talkin with my sis about it, we couldn't help but laugh about the lack of truth to it all. After seeing some of the photos of me from where a lot of this criticism was taken from, I couldn't help but see why people might think things…I mean, even I can admit I looked terrible! I guess we all have our days…Ha!But then I started thinking about a journal entry I wrote a while back, and even though the new book isn't released yet (but will be very soon!) I thought it would be neat to share it with all of you, and give you a glimpse of not only whats to come in the book, but how I feel about the subject myself. In no way am I putting down anyone's decision to get plastic surgery, and hope this doesn't offend anyone, so I hope it doesnt come across in any way critical…"

Kat Von D had at least one consultation (there is a video showing Kat with the surgeon talking about breast enlargement surgery) The plastic surgeon agrees she would be a good candidate for breast implants.

According to some plastic surgeon experts her face shows a lot of plastic surgery indication that can't be hidden anymore.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer was quoted as saying: "Kat Von D does not look much different from previous. She may have had additional maintenance fillers or Botox since these usually only last several months to a year."

OcBody plastic surgeon Dr John Di Saia explained: "She has certainly had some surgery from the looks of her images."

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer claimed: "Kat Von D certainly keeps up her Botox regime to her forehead and around the eyes. Her dramatic brow arch has most likely been caused by consistent Botox injections. I do not believe she has undergone a facelift, but does appear to have enhanced the shape of her nose through a Rhinoplasty procedure."

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., revealed: "Kat Von D appears to have had Botox and facial fillers. She is too young to have had a facelift performed, and would not benefit from any additional work at this time."

Conclusion: Kat Von D doesn't look bad, but older than her actual age (maybe it's growing up too fast or plastic surgery).

Commentary like that seen at The Fab Life asks whether or not Kat Von D, who’s still in her 20s, has really made the decision to have her brows lifted and her nose sculpted.

The general consensus seems to be that, if she did have these procedures done, they were completely unnecessary given the already attractive look she was boasting that hardly needed a surgeon’s scalpel for improvement.

On the other hand, this is all speculation at the moment although we do know she has had at least one consultation.  The surgeon agrees she would be a good candidate for breast enlargement surgery.

Kat Von D hasn’t confirmed any rumors as being true, so all we’re left with are people comparing before and after shots of the tattooed temptress and scouring the images for signs of bad celebrity plastic surgery.

However, unless you have some experience with plastic surgery procedures yourself, or you really know what to look for and you can trust the photographs not to lie to you, speculation is all we’ve really got at the moment.

Any woman that’s ever tried to really change her look and the appearance of her face knows that there are dozens of tricks of the trade to changing perception.

And it is possible that Kat Von D used some, or even all, of these tricks to change the way the camera caught her nose to make it look slimmer.

It’s also possible that she changed the shape of her brows through careful makeup, plucking and shaving.

Given the field she works in, and he considerable knowledge of artistic expression, such actions wouldn’t even cause her to break a sweat. Of course on the other hand it’s entirely possible that she did decide to talk to some of her friends and co-workers to find a talented plastic surgeon.
